We headed out to Kulnura for this Colorbond roof cleaning job. The roof was covered in mould and lichen that had been building up over years, and the homeowner wanted it sorted before the growth caused any lasting damage to the paint. Kulnura sits up on the plateau surrounded by bushland, so roofs in this area tend to get hit harder than most.
Safety is always front of mind for us on jobs like this. Our team works in harnesses on every roof, and we always operate in pairs so there’s a second person supporting the main operator with equipment and keeping an eye on things from the ground. We used high pressure cleaning equipment to strip the mould and lichen off the Colorbond surface, and the result was a roof that looked brand new again.
