You might wonder how we can be absolutely amazing at nine different services?
Well, Shine Bright was started by Micah in 2021, who originally did everything himself. However, as the business has grown, we, at the time of writing, have four amazing team members who help with various services. Every team member has their speciality, such as James & Bevan our window cleaning wizards, or Paul our soft washing master, or Flynn our gutter & roof monkey! Everyone is fully trained to carry out multiple services, but of course all have their areas of expertise.
Let’s jump into a slightly more detailed explanation of each service.
Window Cleaning
Shine Bright is fully equipped to handle all aspects of residential & commercial window cleaning. When it comes to homes, we can clean:
- Window glass inside and outside
- 2nd and 3rd storey windows
- Flyscreens
- Frames & sills
- Tracks (brushing & vacuuming, and deep cleaning)
- Skylights
- Outdoor glass balustrade fencing around pools and decks
- Inside glass staircase balustrades
- Glass louvres
When it comes to commercial properties, we clean windows on offices, warehouses, sport facilities, community halls, & more. However, we don’t clean small shopfront windows like cafes and retail stores. As such, we have partnered with Buff Windows (https://buffwindows.com) who are local experts in shopfront window cleaning and would love to help with your window maintenance.
Gutter Cleaning
Shine Bright love cleaning gutters! We clean everything from small 2-bedroom houses up to warehouses, retirement villages, and entire unit stratas.
We clean 1st and 2nd storey houses, utilising harnesses and safety systems to get the dirty work done at heights. We clean gutters with all kinds of gutter guard installed, including gutter guard that is screwed-in, inserted into place, or just sitting in place. We customise your cleaning requirements based on the level of debris present and what your home’s needs are.
Gutter Guard Installation
Shine Bright installs premium aluminium and stainless steel gutter guard. We only install the absolute best product around, which is the style of gutter guard that is fixed with screws to the edge of your gutter, and then tucks underneath your tiles or is fixed to your colourbond roof with saddles. Whilst we are happy to clean gutters that have other kinds of gutter guard, this is the only kind of gutter guard that we are happy to install ourselves.
Solar Panel Cleaning
Shine Bright clean solar panel systems of all sizes. Typically, solar panels need cleaning every 3-5 years to keep up with their maintenance to ensure that algae, lichen, and dirt don’t build up. We have never seen a 5 year old system that did not need cleaning. Every system this age or older needs cleaning from our personal experience, and we have cleaned many thousands of solar panels. If your solar panels are relatively flat or are next to a dirt road, they will need cleaning more often.
Chimney Sweeping
Shine Bright is here to keep your wood heater burning safely and efficiently all winter long. We provide chimney sweeps, heater services, and safety inspections. Are you wanting to ensure a heater is safe to use? Give us a call!
We sweep chimneys of all styles including one, two and three storey homes. We sweep & work with combustion stove heaters (heaters that have a door), as well as open fireplaces. We also carry out minor maintenance and repairs including replacing door rope seals, firebricks, baffle plates, rainhats, & silicone roof sealant. However, we don’t install or replace wood heaters/flues, although we can refer you to the right place to get these major works done.
Roof Cleaning
Shine Bright are experts in roof washing metal and tiled roofs. We do not pressure wash roofs as this can cause damage to your roof and should only be done with roofs that are being restored (including repointing and repainting). Soft washing is an effective method to clean your roof without causing damage to your metal or tiles. Only 200PSI pressure is used to apply our speciality cleaning products, which is garden hose pressure. All work is guaranteed with a 12 month warranty.
Pressure Cleaning
Shine Bright can pressure clean all flat surfaces, as well as brick walls and retaining walls. We do not pressure clean roofs, but are experts in roof soft washing, which is a much safer and often more effective option for cleaning roofs.
Soft Washing
Shine Bright is fully equipped to clean the outside of your home via a soft wash. A cleaning product is sprayed on the surfaces being cleaned, which is sometimes scrubbed, and is then hosed off. The results are often even better than a pressure clean, all whilst minimising the risk of water damaging anything on your home. We clean the following areas of your home via soft washing:
- Walls
- Eaves
- Exterior aspects of gutters
- Underside of pergolas, carports, & deck roofs
- Gables
- One, two, & three storey buildings
Complementary Roof Inspections
Shine Bright are not roofers, however when carrying out gutter cleaning, we provide a complementary roof inspection to check for cracked tiles, cracked pointing, rust, rot, & potential leaks. We are always happy to replace a few cracked tiles free of charge in gutter cleaning projects, or to apply a small bit of silicone to a potential leak or two. If your roof or gutters need larger repairs, we have wonderful trades we can refer you to.
